At Whitford Catholic Primary School, our Parents & Friends Association (P&F) plays a vital role in nurturing the strong sense of community that defines our school. Guided by our shared Catholic values, the P&F is a welcoming and inclusive group of parents, carers, and friends who work in partnership with the school to support the spiritual, educational, and social development of our children.
Our Purpose
The P&F exists to:
- Foster community spirit by encouraging parent involvement and building meaningful connections.
- Support the school through fundraising initiatives that enhance learning environments and student experiences.
- Promote collaboration between families, staff, and the wider parish community.
We believe that when families are actively engaged in school life, children flourish.
What We Do
Throughout the year, the P&F organises a variety of events and initiatives that bring our community together, including:
- Welcome events for new families
- School discos and fun days
- Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls
- Community BBQs and sausage sizzles
- Fundraising drives to support school projects and resources
These activities not only raise valuable funds but also create joyful memories and a sense of belonging for all involved.
Get Involved
Whether you can offer a few hours at an event, join a working group, or simply attend a meeting, your involvement is always appreciated. The P&F is a wonderful way to meet other families, share your talents, and contribute to the life of our school.
We meet regularly throughout the school year, and all parents and carers are warmly invited to attend. Meeting dates and times are published in the school newsletter and calendar.
