ACADEMIC EXTENSION

Infinite Minds

The Infinite Minds is designed to develop students’ innovation, problem solving skills, critical, creative, and abstract thinking skills and knowledge in a variety of ways, covering an array of subject areas. The Infinite Minds program is considered a challenging extension program and students are identified for participation within the program through a series of standardised tests and teacher consultation, to ascertain those who would most benefit from this different style of learning program.

Students who have undergone psychometric testing administered by a registered psychologist and have subsequently been identified as highly able or gifted, will be considered for suitability for participation in the Infinite Minds Program.

As an added enrichment to this program and to cater for the diversity of students at Whitford Catholic, additional academic competitions are also available, including Cluedunnit, Tournament of Minds, Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads and Academic All Stars Days.
