Students from PP- Year 6 are introduced to the unit of Drama where the focus is building confidence and FUN!
Skills that the students learn in class are voice, movement, improvisation, group work, play-building, role-play character and role, costume and of course, PERFORMANCE!
Junior school classes delve into programs of Circus, Interpretation and Role Play of Literature and Twisted Fairytales. The upper school students explore programs of scripts, theatre sports with a hilarious afternoon of “Improvisation Survivor” where the students perform in a variety of improvisation games to win the ultimate prize of a rubber chicken! Students in Year 6 devise an end of year performance using playwriting skills and production and design exploring their time at WCPS, a very popular performance for our school!
